Building on this foundation, Joel also created a separate brand for infused chocolates, blending adaptogens like CBD and medicinal mushrooms with premium chocolate.

Joel’s background as a qualified boat skipper has shaped his approach to business. He compares running a company to sailing, saying, “Navigating to your destination is never a straight line. The weather, waves, and currents are constantly changing, and we have to go with the flow, not against it.” Today, Joel applies his strategic thinking and leadership skills to steer DAR Chocolate forward, blending creativity, adaptability, and an unwavering commitment to quality.
